Special menu launches for the Dragon Boat Festival
In celebration of the Dragon Boat Festival, Zheng He’s, the contemporary Chinese restaurant, launches specially crafted culinary offerings which reflects the traditional cuisine of the Zhou dynasty. The themed menu hosts a roster of dumpling dishes endowed by subtlety and refinement, featuring unique oriental flavours, and complemented with traditional Japanese cocktails. To complete the customary occasion, live, cultural dances will be taking place every hour from 7:30 onwards.
The Dragon Boat festival is an important commemoration on the Chinese calendar that occurs on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar.
It is considered to be an epicure’s delight reflecting the ethos of China. The inspired special menu will be available at Zheng He’s until 31 May, and will be offered for lunch from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and for dinner from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
Highlights of the Dragon Boat Festival include Hong Kong Style Glutinous Rice Dumplings, Sweet Red Bean Glutinous Rice Lye Water Dumplings and Traditional XO Chili Wagyu Beef Glutinous Rice Dumpling.
